I watched the show “Breaking Amish” last night on TLC. It was really interesting to learn a bit about the amish/mennonite culture. Did you know that most amish kids don’t ever go past 8th grade in school? It’s because in their culture/community, once you’re past 8th grade you are old enough to work, so to them, no more schooling is needed…
